Oxford Biomedical Research (OBR) develops, manufactures and markets assay kits, recombinant proteins and antibodies for biomedical research and drug discovery. The company’s primary focus is on the identification and assay of biomarkers for oxidative stress and chronic inflammation, two major risk factors for multiple diseases.
OBR provides a large selection of drug metabolizing enzymes including all GST isoforms and recombinant P450s. The company also provides CypExpress™, a stable dry powder containing individual unmodified, full-length human P450s expressed in a eukaryotic system. CypExpress™ offers higher yields than bacterial recombinants or liver microsomes and is ideal for metabolite profiling and scale up.
